A commercial refrigerator built for chilled storage of cans and bottles, the TEFCOLD SDU1280 keeps drinks at serving temperature without freezing. Fan-assisted cooling circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and ensuring consistent chilling from top to bottom. The system uses refrigerant R600a, which removes heat from the interior and expels it at the rear, maintaining the set temperature range of +2 to +10 °C regardless of ambient conditions. Loading is organised for high-volume storage. Four adjustable wire shelves, each 498 by 405 mm, slide out to accept trays of cans or bottles. The unit holds up to 392 330 ml cans, 259 500 ml cans, 175 330 ml bottles or 175 500 ml PET bottles. A reversible solid door swings left or right to suit the kitchen layout, and adjustable feet level the cabinet on uneven floors. Operation is straightforward: plug the refrigerator into a 220-240 V 50 Hz supply, set the desired temperature between +2 and +10 °C, and load the shelves. The fan starts automatically, drawing air over the evaporator coil and distributing cold air through vents at the back of each shelf. Once the interior reaches the set point, the compressor cycles on and off to maintain the temperature without over-cooling. The cabinet is constructed from pre-coated steel panels with a white interior finish. Four wire shelves, coated in white epoxy, support the load while allowing air to circulate freely. The exterior dimensions of 595 mm wide, 640 mm deep and 1635 mm high fit through standard doorways and under most worktops, while the 260 litre volume provides ample storage without occupying excessive floor space. At 74 kg, the unit is stable but can be moved by two people using a sack trolley. The smooth, seamless interior and removable wire shelves let you wipe down every surface without moving stock or dislodging labels. The wire shelves lift out for washing in warm soapy water, and the interior walls wipe clean with a damp cloth. The condenser coil at the rear should be vacuumed periodically to remove dust that would otherwise reduce cooling efficiency. No internal defrosting is required; the system is designed to prevent ice build-up within the stated temperature range. The SDU1280 is a single model with no variants.
