Showcase cooler 32 l
A static showcase cooler keeps prepared food chilled while presenting it directly to customers. The unit circulates cool air around GN1/4 gastronorm pans without forced fans, relying on natural convection to maintain an even temperature across every shelf. This method avoids drying the surface of salads, desserts or plated dishes, preserving both appearance and texture during service.
The operator loads up to five GN1/4 pans into the refrigerated cavity, sets the desired temperature between +2 °C and +10 °C, and leaves the cooler to stabilise. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, ensuring the glass front sits flush for a clear view. The static cooling cycle runs continuously, drawing 0.112 kW from a standard 220-240 V single-phase supply.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, with a choice of either a full stainless steel cover or a glass protective panel that shields the pans while allowing visibility. The footprint of 1200 mm by 335 mm fits along most worktops, and the 225 mm height keeps the display at eye level for seated customers. A total volume of 32 L accommodates the five pans without crowding, while the 40 kg weight allows two staff to reposition the unit when the kitchen layout changes.
Temperature control is manual, with a simple dial calibrated from +2 °C to +10 °C. The range is tailored for ready-to-serve items that must stay above freezing but below room temperature, such as cold starters, buffet salads or chilled desserts.
Cleaning follows the static design: remove the pans, wipe the interior with a damp cloth and approved sanitiser, then dry before reloading. The glass or stainless steel cover lifts away for access to the cavity, and the adjustable feet can be raised to allow mopping underneath. No forced-air vents or fans mean fewer crevices where debris can collect.
Two variants are available: one with a stainless steel cover and one with a glass protective panel, both accepting the same five GN1/4 pans.
The unit is catalogued under refrigerated display equipment for professional kitchens and front-of-house service.
