A refrigerated display counter keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining safe storage temperatures. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils inside the unit, removing heat from the interior. A fan then distributes the cooled air evenly across every shelf and corner, preventing warm spots that could spoil food. The cooled air also flows across the front glass, keeping it clear of condensation so customers can see the products without opening the cabinet.

The operator loads the 825 mm deep stainless steel display surface with meat, cheese, ready-made meals or other perishables. The front glass panel lifts upwards, allowing the shelf to be wiped down and restocked without reaching over a fixed barrier. At the rear, wide doors swing open to reveal the storage compartment, which is sized to accept standard E2 crates for bulk replenishment. Two 220 V sockets on the back panel let the counter double as a workstation for scales, cash registers or labelling machines.

The entire display surface and rear shelf are made of stainless steel for easy cleaning and resistance to corrosion. The internal construction uses the same material, while the exterior is finished in black.

Daily upkeep involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces and the inside of the glass with a mild detergent. The upward-opening front panel simplifies access, and the wide rear doors allow the storage area to be cleaned without moving the unit. The R290 refrigerant is chosen for its low environmental impact, and the fan-assisted system requires occasional dusting of the condenser coils to maintain efficiency.
