A spacer screw holds internal panels, frames or components at a fixed distance inside refrigeration and freezing units. The threaded shaft passes through the first part, the head presses against it, and the unthreaded spacer section maintains the gap between the two surfaces. This spacing ensures airflow, insulation or mechanical clearance that the manufacturer designed into the cabinet. Without the correct spacer, panels can shift, seals can fail or moving parts can bind, so the screw is matched to the exact thickness of the materials it joins.
To fit the screw, the operator aligns the hole in the first component with the corresponding hole in the second, slides the screw through until the spacer section bridges the gap, then tightens the head until the parts are held firmly but not distorted. The screw remains in place during normal operation and is removed only when the unit is disassembled for deep cleaning or repair.
This screw is a genuine Tefcold spare part, manufactured to the same dimensions and tolerances as the original fasteners used in Tefcold refrigerators, freezers, display cabinets and coldrooms. It fits equipment across the Tefcold range where the design calls for this specific spacer length and thread pitch.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the screw with a damp cloth to remove dust or grease; no special treatment is required.
