This stylish counter has an effective ventilated cooling system, which circulates cool air evenly throughout the cabinet.
A ventilated refrigerator showcase keeps chilled food visible and within reach while maintaining a steady low temperature. Cool air circulates continuously behind the glass, drawn from the top and pushed down across the shelves, then recirculated. This airflow prevents warm spots and ensures every item stays at the same temperature without the need for manual rotation. The system also removes moisture from the air, reducing frost build-up and keeping the glass clear for unobstructed viewing.
To load the SPID130, the operator lifts the front glass panel on its hinges and places gastronorm pans or loose items on the wire shelves. The glass is then closed and the unit left to run; no manual defrosting is required. An LED strip inside the cabinet illuminates the contents, and the black exterior frames the display without competing for attention. A small storage compartment below the main cabinet offers additional space for backup stock or ingredients.
The cabinet is built with a flat glass front and sides, sealed to prevent air leakage and to simplify cleaning. The front glass hinges forward for access to the interior, and the entire structure sits on adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors. The exterior is finished in black, while the interior surfaces are smooth and easy to wipe down.
Controls are minimal: a thermostat sets the temperature between -1 °C and +5 °C, covering the safe range for chilled ready-to-eat foods. The unit runs on a 230 V single-phase supply, the standard for commercial kitchens, and draws 0.572 kW, a moderate load that can share a circuit with other low-power appliances. The gross weight of 206 kg means the showcase is moved on a trolley or pallet jack, not carried by hand.
The footprint of 1265 mm wide by 960 mm deep fits into a standard worktop run or against a wall, leaving enough room for the door to open fully. The height of 1235 mm places the top shelf at eye level for most operators, making it easy to arrange and retrieve items without bending. The unit accepts GN1/1 pans, allowing seamless integration with existing kitchen workflows that use gastronorm containers.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass and interior surfaces with a mild detergent, then drying to prevent streaks. The front glass can be lifted to reach the back of the cabinet, and the wire shelves are removable for thorough cleaning. The automatic defrost cycle eliminates the need to scrape ice, reducing daily maintenance.
The SPID130 is a single model with no variants. It is classified as a refrigerated food display unit in the catering equipment catalogue.
