TEFCOLD SPID150 Refrigerator Showcase for Food Display

A refrigerated showcase keeps chilled food visible while maintaining safe temperatures. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils, drawing heat from the interior and releasing it outside. Ventilated cooling moves cold air evenly across the shelves, preventing warm spots and ensuring consistent chilling. This method preserves freshness without freezing, making it suitable for ready-to-eat items like sandwiches, salads and deli meats.

The SPID150 is loaded from the front. The operator places gastronorm pans of prepared food onto the refrigerated shelf, then closes the hinged glass door. The LED interior light switches on automatically, illuminating the contents for customers. The temperature control maintains the set range, while automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up on the coils. When cleaning is needed, the front glass hinges forward, giving full access to the interior and the pan shelf.

The showcase is built with a flat glass structure for hygiene and visibility. The exterior is finished in black, while the interior surfaces are designed for easy wiping. The cooling system uses R290 refrigerant, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact. The unit accepts GN1/1 pans, allowing standardised food presentation.

The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement matches a standard single-phase kitchen circuit. The 0.781 kW rating indicates the load on the supply, which must be considered when planning electrical capacity. The automatic defrost function reduces manual maintenance, but the drain tray should be checked periodically to ensure proper drainage.
