The compressor circulates refrigerant through an evaporator coil, pulling heat from the cabinet and expelling it at the rear. An anti-vibration system isolates the compressor from the cabinet, preventing movement that could disturb sediment in the bottles.

The operator loads up to 46 standard 750 ml bottles onto six wooden shelves. Each shelf slides out for easy access. Two independent thermostats let the user set one zone between +5 °C and +10 °C for whites and rosés, and the other between +10 °C and +18 °C for reds. A hinged tinted-glass door opens to reveal an LED interior light that illuminates the bottles without generating heat. The door is reversible, allowing the hinge to be fitted on either side to suit the kitchen layout.

The cabinet is built with a stainless-steel door frame and handle, and adjustable feet to level the unit on uneven floors. The 131 litre volume provides space for 46 bottles while keeping the footprint compact at 595 mm wide, 570 mm deep and 820 mm high. The 44 kg weight allows the cooler to be moved by two people without specialist equipment. A standard 220-240 V, 50 Hz single-phase supply powers the 0.16 kW compressor, drawing a modest load suitable for most commercial circuits.

Cleaning involves wiping the wooden shelves and interior surfaces with a damp cloth, and vacuuming the rear condenser coil to remove dust that would reduce cooling efficiency. The tinted glass door minimises UV exposure, protecting wine from light damage without additional filters.
