Wine cooler 350 liters with 2 temperature zones, Stainless Steel color
The unit draws heat from the air with a refrigerant circuit, then expels it at the back. Because the refrigerant absorbs heat as it evaporates, the process is quieter and gentler than a compressor in a domestic fridge, reducing vibration that can disturb sediment in older wines.
The cooler is organised in two vertical zones, each with its own electronic controller. Load the upper zone with whites and rosés, setting the temperature between +5 °C and +10 °C. Fill the lower zone with reds, choosing a range from +10 °C to +18 °C. A hinged tinted-glass door swings open to reveal LED-lit wooden shelves that hold up to 163 standard 750 ml bottles. The door is reversible, so it can open from either side to fit the kitchen layout.
Start by levelling the unit on its adjustable feet. Plug the cooler into a 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply; the 0.22 kW power rating means it draws less current than a commercial oven or fryer, so it can share a circuit with other small appliances. Set each zone to the desired temperature using the electronic controller. Once the cooler reaches the set point, it cycles on and off automatically to maintain the climate. The tinted glass blocks ultraviolet light that can degrade wine over time, while the stainless steel frame and handle protect the door from kitchen wear.
Inside, fourteen wooden shelves support bottles horizontally, keeping corks moist and airtight. The anti-vibration cooling system minimises movement that could stir sediment in mature wines. The 350 litre volume and 106 kg weight mean the cooler is best placed on a solid floor rather than a suspended worktop. Its 595 mm width and 680 mm depth fit standard kitchen alcoves, while the 1760 mm height clears most worktop overhangs.
Clean the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the wooden shelves or stainless steel surfaces. Wipe the glass door regularly to keep the LED light visible. The reversible door hinge can be switched without tools, but the cooler should be emptied first to avoid damaging bottles. No other maintenance is required beyond occasional checks that the door seals tightly and the feet remain level.
The TFW400-2S is listed in the professional refrigeration section of the catalogue, alongside other climate-controlled storage for wine and beverages.
