TEFCOLD TM45GC 34 Litre Mini Bar with Glass Door

A compact refrigerated display cabinet designed for guest rooms, the TEFCOLD TM45GC mini bar keeps bottled and packaged refreshments chilled behind a full-height glass door. The transparent front allows guests to see the contents without opening the door, reducing cold-air loss and maintaining a steady temperature inside.

The unit relies on a compressor-driven cooling cycle that circulates refrigerant through an evaporator coil. As the refrigerant evaporates, it absorbs heat from the interior, lowering the air temperature to the set range. A small fan distributes the cooled air evenly across the shelves, ensuring every item is kept at the same chilled level. The system is optimised for quiet operation, so it does not disturb guests during rest periods.

To load the mini bar, the operator slides the two plastic shelves out, arranges the drinks and snacks, then returns the shelves to their runners. The integrated handle and lock secure the door once the display is complete. The LED interior lighting illuminates the contents, making them visible in low ambient light.

Operation begins by plugging the unit into a standard 220-240 V single-phase socket. The control panel offers three distinct modes. In normal operation, the compressor cycles on and off to hold the temperature between +5 °C and +14 °C. The FAST-cool function overrides the thermostat to pull the temperature down quickly after restocking. The SLEEP mode suspends compressor activity for a set period, ensuring complete silence during late-night hours. A separate timing programme allows the hotel to schedule compressor operation for times when the room is unoccupied, further reducing noise.

The cabinet is constructed with a black exterior finish and a single-glazed glass door. The interior liner and the two adjustable plastic shelves are easy to wipe clean. The refrigerant charge of 26 g uses R600a, a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential. The overall footprint of 402 mm wide, 485 mm deep and 565 mm high fits neatly against a wall or under a worktop, while the 24 kg weight allows two staff members to reposition it without mechanical assistance.

The 34 litre capacity provides space for a selection of small bottles, cans and snack packs. The temperature range of +5 °C to +14 °C is suitable for chilled beverages and wrapped confectionery, but not for frozen items or perishable dairy products. The 0.065 kW power rating reflects the unit's low energy consumption during normal operation, reducing the load on the hotel's electrical circuit.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior liner and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The exterior surfaces and the glass door can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner. The LED lighting does not require replacement bulbs, and the compressor-driven system has no daily maintenance beyond occasional dusting of the condenser coil at the rear.

The TM45GC is a single model with no variants. It is designed for built-in or freestanding installation in hotel guest rooms, small offices or bed-and-breakfast accommodations.
