TEFCOLD UPD200 Refrigerated Display Counter for Chilled Goods

A refrigerated display counter keeps chilled food visible and safe by circulating cold air around the cabinet. A compressor draws heat from the interior and expels it at the rear, while a fan spreads the cooled air evenly across every shelf. This ventilated cooling maintains a steady temperature throughout the unit, so items at the front stay as cold as those at the back. The double-glazed panels on all four sides reduce condensation and cut heat transfer, letting customers see the goods without opening the door and losing cold air.

To use the UPD200, load the five wire shelves with pre-chilled products, then close the single hinged glass door. Set the thermostat between +2 °C and +12 °C to suit the items on display. The internal LED light switches on automatically when the door opens, illuminating the contents without adding heat. Four strong wheels allow the unit to be moved into position before the compressor is started, and the lockable castors keep it stationary during service.

The cabinet is finished in aluminium with a white interior. The five wire shelves are adjustable, so shelf spacing can be changed to fit taller items. A single hinged glass door at the front provides access while minimising cold-air loss. The ventilated cooling system runs on a 220-240 V 50 Hz supply, drawing 0.255 kW when the compressor cycles. The 425 L volume gives space for a full day's stock, and the 706 mm width fits standard worktop depths. The 140 kg weight means two people are needed to lift the unit over steps or kerbs, but the built-in wheels allow one person to roll it across level floors.

Cleaning is done with the shelves removed. The wire racks can be washed in warm water and mild detergent, while the aluminium interior and glass panels are wiped with a non-abrasive cloth. The condenser coil at the rear should be vacuumed monthly to remove dust that would reduce cooling efficiency. The LED light is sealed and requires no maintenance beyond occasional dusting.
