TEFCOLD VOC100 Can Cooler for Chilled Drinks

This can cooler chills drinks by circulating cold air with a quiet fan. The refrigerant coil inside the cabinet removes heat from the drinks and releases it at the back, ensuring even cooling without freezing. This method preserves carbonation and keeps labels clear. The fan eliminates warm spots, maintaining consistent temperatures even with frequent door openings during service.

Drinks are loaded through the front glass door, arranged on wire shelves. The LED canopy lights up automatically when the door opens, improving visibility in dimly lit areas. A thermostat inside the cabinet maintains temperatures between +2 and +12 °C, adjustable via a dial behind the door. Once connected to a 220-240 V 50 Hz supply, the compressor starts, and cold air circulates quickly.

The unit features seven gliding feet for easy movement across smooth floors without scratching. The cabinet is constructed from pre-coated steel panels that resist condensation and are simple to clean. Chrome-plated wire shelves inside promote durability and airflow. The refrigerant used is R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact, contained in a sealed system that requires no maintenance.

With a 103-litre capacity, the cooler accommodates 80 standard 330 ml cans, 50 larger 500 ml cans, or a combination of bottles and cans up to the same height. The 0.16 kW power rating ensures it operates efficiently on a standard circuit. Weighing 29 kg, it can be lifted by two staff members without equipment. The 660 mm width fits under standard counters or against walls, while the 970 mm height clears most splashbacks when placed on the floor.

Maintenance involves wiping the interior shelves and steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The LED canopy should be cleaned with a dry microfibre cloth to avoid moisture near electrical parts. The gliding feet should be checked periodically to prevent debris from scratching floors. The condenser coil at the back must be kept free of dust and grease for optimal performance.
