Temperature mode +4 / +8°C, Self Service
A refrigerated patisserie showcase built for impulse purchases keeps chilled items visible and accessible without a front barrier. The unit circulates cold air across the open face, creating an invisible curtain that holds the temperature while allowing customers to reach in. Shelves of tempered glass display pastries, salads and drinks under LED lighting, so the colours and textures remain vivid even in low ambient light. The cooling system uses a fan to draw warm air over an evaporator coil, where refrigerant absorbs the heat and carries it away. Automatic defrost cycles melt any ice that forms on the coil, and the water evaporates without manual draining, keeping the interior dry and the airflow unobstructed.
To start the showcase, the operator plugs it into a single-phase 230 V supply, sets the electronic control to the desired temperature between +4 °C and +8 °C, and loads the shelves. The LED lighting switches on automatically when the door is opened or can be left on continuously. Customers take items directly from the open front; the cold-air curtain adjusts to maintain the set temperature. When the showcase is empty or needs cleaning, the shelves lift out without tools.
The case is constructed from double-tempered glass panels and a stainless-steel frame. The Dense Back configuration leaves the rear wall solid, so the unit can stand against a wall or partition. Ventilation cooling, an electronic control unit, and automatic defrost and evaporation are standard. The refrigerant is a blend of R1234YF and R290.
The 0.730 kW power rating indicates the load on the electrical circuit; a single-phase 230 V supply is required. The temperature range of +4 °C to +8 °C keeps dairy, salads and chilled drinks safe without freezing. The 215 kg weight means the unit is moved on a trolley or pallet jack. The footprint of 990 mm wide, 742 mm deep and 1344 mm high fits a standard worktop or counter space.
Cleaning involves removing the glass shelves, wiping the interior and exterior with a damp cloth, and drying the surfaces to prevent water spots. The automatic defrost and evaporation system eliminates the need to drain condensate manually. No other maintenance is specified.
The CUBE II 1000 is available in the Dense Back variant only. It is categorised under refrigerated patisserie showcases in the UNIS COOL catalogue.
