A static refrigerated display case keeps delicate confectionery at a steady, gentle chill without the turbulence of forced air. Cold air sinks naturally from an evaporator beneath each shelf, forming a quiet layer that cradles pastries, chocolates and decorated cakes.

To load the showcase, the operator slides open the rear doors and places trays of goods on the glass shelves. The front curved glass panel remains closed, protecting the display while allowing clear visibility. Under each shelf a fluorescent lamp switches on automatically, casting even light across the products. When the ambient conditions are 25 °C and 60% humidity, the electronic control system holds the cabinet between 4 and 8 °C, triggering automatic defrost cycles and evaporating condensate without manual intervention. The operator simply monitors the temperature display and restocks as needed.

The cabinet is constructed with a double-glazed front and sides to reduce heat gain and condensation. All other panels are finished in the chosen colour—gold, grey or stainless steel—with the gold model designated article 142S111. The unit stands on adjustable feet, measuring 1000 mm wide, 750 mm deep and 1340 mm high, and weighs 190 kg, indicating a substantial floor-standing installation that is moved only with a trolley or pallet truck.

Controls are electronic, with a digital display and push-button settings for temperature and defrost intervals. The voltage requirement of 230 V single-phase at 50 Hz matches the standard UK commercial supply, allowing straightforward connection to a dedicated circuit. The 0.54 kW power rating reflects the modest electrical load of a static evaporator system, keeping running costs low while maintaining consistent cooling.

Cleaning is simplified by the rounded front glass, which has no sharp corners to trap debris, and by the sliding rear doors that open fully for access to the interior. Shelves and evaporator trays lift out for thorough washing, and the condensate evaporation system eliminates the need to empty a drip tray. The showcase is available in gold, grey or stainless steel finishes, with the gold version carrying article number 142S111.
