Temperature mode +4/ +8
A refrigerated display case keeps confectionery chilled while presenting it to customers. The unit circulates cold air across two separate zones, each cooled by a fan that draws heat away from the products and expels it at the rear. This forced-air method maintains an even temperature throughout the cabinet, preventing warm spots that could spoil delicate items like pastries, chocolates or cream-based desserts. The glass doors allow customers to view and select items without opening the case, reducing temperature fluctuations and energy use.
To operate the case, the user loads confectionery onto the shelves, closes the doors and sets the desired temperature between +4 °C and +8 °C on the electronic control panel. The system starts automatically, circulating cold air and defrosting at intervals to prevent ice build-up. The operator monitors the display through the glass doors and replenishes stock as needed, while customers serve themselves directly from the front.
The case is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in a food environment. The doors are made of organic glass, which provides visibility while insulating the interior. The top of the case can be fitted with an optional advertisement panel made of organic glass, though this model is supplied without one.
The electronic control unit lets the operator set and monitor the temperature, while automatic defrosting removes the need for manual intervention. The +4 °C to +8 °C range suits items that require gentle chilling but not freezing, such as cakes, mousses and fresh desserts. The 0.23 kW power rating indicates the load the case places on the electrical supply, while the 40 kg weight allows it to be moved by two people without specialised equipment. The 606 mm width fits on most worktops or counters, leaving space for additional equipment or customer access.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the glass doors can be cleaned with a glass cleaner to maintain visibility. The organic glass advertisement panel, if fitted later, is cleaned the same way as the doors. The forced-air system requires occasional vacuuming of the rear vents to remove dust that could reduce efficiency.
This model is supplied without an advertisement panel, though one can be ordered separately. The standard version includes a "Desserts" inscription, which can be replaced with a custom design at the customer's request. The case is designed for self-service, allowing customers to select items without staff assistance.
