Temperature mode +30/ +90 °C
A countertop hot showcase keeps prepared dishes at serving temperature without drying them out. The Loire Hot uses a concealed heating element beneath the display area, circulating warm air evenly around the shelves. A mechanical thermostat maintains the set temperature between 30 °C and 90 °C, allowing everything from delicate pastries to roasted meats to stay ready for self-service. The lower and upper shelves are both illuminated, so food remains visible and appetising under ambient lighting or in dimmer café settings.
To operate the showcase, place it on a stable worktop or table. Load the 600 mm by 250 mm shelves with plated dishes or trays. Set the mechanical thermostat to the desired temperature and switch the unit on. The 1 kW heating element warms the air inside the chamber; a small fan distributes the heat evenly across every shelf. When the thermostat reaches the set point, the element cycles on and off to hold the temperature. Customers lift the hinged front glass to serve themselves, and the unit automatically compensates for the brief drop in temperature when the door is opened.
The exterior is finished in stainless steel, gold or any RAL colour to match the kitchen's décor. The interior is stainless steel throughout, including the removable crumb tray that slides out from the base. The illuminated advertising panel above the glass is optional and can be added later if required. All shelves and the crumb tray are removable for daily cleaning; the glass front lifts off for access to the interior walls and heating element.
A footprint of 606 mm by 420 mm fits on most counters without overhang. The 30 kg weight allows two staff to move the showcase when the worktop needs to be cleared. The 1 kW power draw requires a standard socket, so no special circuit is needed in a professional kitchen. The temperature range of 30 °C to 90 °C covers holding, proofing and gentle reheating, but does not support rapid cooking or frying.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The crumb tray should be emptied and washed daily to prevent grease build-up. The glass front and advertising panel can be cleaned with glass cleaner; avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the illuminated surfaces. The heating element and fan should be inspected monthly for dust accumulation and wiped with a dry microfibre cloth.
The Loire Hot is available in stainless steel, gold or any RAL colour. An illuminated advertising panel can be ordered separately and retrofitted. The unit is classified as a countertop hot display case for self-service applications.
