Temperature mode +4 / +8°C SERVE OVER
A refrigerated display case keeps delicate pastries, cakes and confections at a steady chill while presenting them under bright, even light. The unit draws warm air from the cabinet, passes it over an evaporator coil cooled by refrigerant, and returns the cooled air through a concealed duct at the rear. This continuous air circulation maintains an unbroken temperature zone across every shelf without creating draughts that could dry the surface of cream or meringue.
To use the showcase, the operator loads the tempered glass shelves through the hinged front glass or the rear sliding door. The electronic control unit is set to the desired temperature between +4 °C and +8 °C; the system then cycles the compressor and fan automatically. LED lighting switches on to illuminate the display area, and the automatic defrost programme periodically melts any frost on the coil, draining the condensate to a tray beneath the unit.
The cabinet is built with a double outer layer of tempered glass that insulates the interior while giving an unobstructed view. Shelves are also made of tempered glass, supported by adjustable brackets. A hinged front panel opens fully for cleaning, and the rear door slides to allow restocking without reaching across the display. Ventilation cooling ensures uniform temperature, while the electronic control unit provides precise adjustment and fault indication.
A power rating of 0.510 kW indicates the load on the electrical circuit; the unit runs on a standard 230 V single-phase supply. The footprint of 590 mm width by 735 mm depth fits a typical bakery counter, and the 1344 mm height allows eye-level display without overshooting most worktops. The 143 kg weight means the showcase is moved on a trolley or with two people, and once in place it remains stable on level flooring.
Cleaning involves wiping the tempered glass surfaces with a mild detergent, removing the shelves to wash them separately, and occasionally emptying the condensate tray. The hinged front glass and rear sliding door simplify access, while the automatic defrost system reduces manual defrosting tasks.
The CUBE II 600 is part of a modular range that includes 90° and 45° corner units, allowing the creation of continuous display lines tailored to the shop layout.
The showcase is categorised under refrigerated display equipment for patisserie and confectionery.
