UNIS COOL Virginia 1000 Low Self-Service Chilled Display Case

A chilled display case keeps prepared food and drinks at a steady low temperature while letting customers serve themselves. A fan-driven refrigeration system circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, so each item stays within the safe range without freezing. The glass front and LED lighting make the contents visible from all angles, encouraging impulse purchases without opening the case and losing cold air.

The operator loads the shelves from the rear through a sliding door, then sets the electronic control unit to the desired temperature band. Automatic defrosting and evaporation cycles run in the background, so the unit stays frost-free and ready for the next day's stock. When the display needs restocking or cleaning, the sliding door gives quick access without interrupting service at the front.

The Virginia 1000 Low is built in stainless steel for hygiene and durability. Two adjustable shelves hold trays, boxes or loose items, while upper and lower LED strips illuminate the contents. A rear ventilation grille draws warm air out, and the refrigerant R134a keeps the cooling circuit efficient and compliant with current regulations.

The 0.57 kW power rating means the unit can run on a standard 230 V single-phase circuit found in most retail and catering premises. The 200 kg weight requires a stable floor and a trolley for moving, while the 990 mm width and 743 mm depth fit neatly into a worktop run or against a wall. Two versions are available: the Virginia 1000 Low (2 shelves, 1095 mm high) and the Virginia 1000 Standard (3 shelves, 1324 mm high). Both share the same footprint and cooling technology, allowing a choice of capacity without changing the counter space.
