Paella gas grills need a stable, elevated frame to hold the wide, shallow pan over the flame. These legs form a rigid stand that raises the burner off the ground, allowing even heat distribution across the base of the pan. The height also keeps the flame clear of wind and debris, which is essential when cooking outdoors over an open gas ring.
The frame is assembled from cold-rolled steel sections, welded into a square footprint that resists twisting. A layer of paint is baked onto the surface to seal the metal against moisture and prevent rust. This coating is chosen for its durability in outdoor conditions, where the legs may be exposed to rain, salt air or splashes from the paella itself.
To use, the legs are bolted to the underside of the gas burner, one at each corner. The burner is then placed on the stand and levelled by adjusting the feet. Once the gas supply is connected and the ring lit, the paella pan sits directly on the burner's rim, held steady by the reinforced frame. After cooking, the legs can be unbolted for storage or transport.
The steel construction gives the stand a solid weight that prevents tipping, even when the pan is heavily loaded with rice and seafood. The red finish is both a visual marker and an additional barrier against corrosion, making the legs easy to spot in a busy outdoor kitchen.
These legs are sized to fit gas burners with diameters between 400 mm and 700 mm, matching the standard paella pan sizes used in professional catering.
Cleaning is limited to wiping down the painted surface with a damp cloth to remove food splashes and dust. The anti-oxidation coating means no oiling or repainting is required between uses.
