This grill oven merges radiant top heat with fan-assisted convection. The overhead grill element produces direct infrared heat for searing and browning, while the fan-driven oven below circulates hot air to cook food evenly. Operators can grill, bake, or roast without changing appliances or settings.
Food is placed on a wire rack or solid tray. The user chooses top grill, oven fan, or both, then adjusts temperature and timer. The grill element heats up, and the fan starts, moving air around the cavity. Browning can be observed through the glass door, and food is removed when ready.
The appliance is constructed from stainless steel, forming a single-walled cavity and a durable worktop. The bottom-hinged door opens downward, allowing easy access for sliding trays in and out. Controls are located on the right side: rotary knobs for temperature and timer, and a rocker switch for mode selection.
A 3.1 kW power rating requires a dedicated electrical circuit. It operates on a 230 V single-phase supply, standard in British commercial kitchens. The 540 mm width fits most worktop spaces, and its 19 kg weight enables two people to move it for storage or cleaning.
Cleaning is straightforward due to its stainless steel interior and removable components. The wire rack and interior can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The grill element and fan assembly detach for deeper cleaning, providing access to the cavity and air duct. The glass door is removable for thorough cleaning or replacement.
