| COMPLETION | FL2006/E - transparent beakers |
A high-speed countertop mixer designed for rapid blending, emulsifying and liquefying in professional kitchens. The appliance uses a motor-driven disc that spins at high velocity, creating a vortex that pulls ingredients towards the blades. This method breaks down solids quickly and produces smooth, uniform mixtures without the need for pre-chopping or straining.
The operator places ingredients into one of the two supplied transparent beakers, attaches the beaker to the base, and selects the desired speed with the main switch and microswitch. The motor starts immediately, and the contents are drawn into the spinning disc. The transparent beakers allow the operator to monitor the consistency without stopping the machine. Once the mixture reaches the desired texture, the operator releases the microswitch and removes the beaker.
The FL2006 is built with a synthetic mixing disc and a general power switch combined with a microswitch for precise control. The transparent beakers are 0.8 litres each and made of durable plastic. A thermal cut-out protects the motor from overheating during extended use.
The 230 V, 50/60 Hz voltage requirement matches standard UK catering circuits, allowing the mixer to be plugged into any worktop socket without special wiring. The 0.3 kW power rating keeps the electrical load low, so the unit can run alongside other appliances on the same circuit. The compact footprint of 280 mm by 190 mm fits easily on a worktop or shelf, while the 5 kg weight makes it portable between stations.
Cleaning involves removing the beaker and disc, washing them in warm soapy water, and wiping the base with a damp cloth. The thermal cut-out resets automatically once the motor cools, so no manual intervention is needed after an overheat event.
The standard model FL2006/E includes transparent beakers. Optional upgrades include a stainless-steel mixing disc, a turbo stainless-steel disc, a stainless-steel cone, and a 12 V motor for mobile or outdoor use.
The mixer is categorised under countertop blending equipment in the professional catering catalogue.
