A professional-grade gas hob where quality meets functionality. Designed for intensive use, combining reliability, safety, and modern design.
2 burners: 5,5 kW + 7,4 kW
A gas hob built for the demands of a professional kitchen, combining high-output burners with a seamless stainless-steel work surface and integrated undershelf. The unit runs on natural gas, delivering instant, controllable heat for pots and pans of every size. Gas hobs remain the choice for chefs who need to adjust flame intensity quickly and see the exact level of heat at a glance, without waiting for elements to warm or cool. The burners ignite manually, allowing the operator to feel the gas flow before the flame appears, which is essential for precise timing in a busy service.
The hob surface is a single pressed sheet of 2 mm stainless steel, formed with raised edges and a slight slope to channel spills into two removable drip trays. These trays sit flush beneath the cast-iron grates, catching liquids before they reach the undershelf or the floor. The grates themselves are porcelain-enamelled cast iron, chosen for its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling without warping or discolouring. Each burner is fitted with a flame-failure safety device: if the flame goes out, the gas supply cuts off automatically, preventing unburned gas from accumulating in the kitchen.
Operation follows a straightforward sequence. The chef places a pan on the grate, opens the gas valve, and ignites the burner with a manual spark. The valve stays cool to the touch, even after prolonged use, and the pilot light remains shielded to avoid accidental extinguishing. Once cooking is complete, the valve is closed, the flame dies, and the pan can be removed. The drip trays slide out for emptying and cleaning, and the grates lift off for scrubbing or soaking.
Construction is entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, finished with a Scotch-Brite brushed surface that resists fingerprints and scratches. The undershelf is part of the same pressed frame, creating a single unit that can be installed directly onto a worktop or between existing cupboards. Four adjustable feet ensure the hob sits level on uneven floors. The gas connection is made at the rear, keeping the supply line out of sight and reducing the risk of snagging.
The power rating of 5.5 kW and 7.4 kW refers to the maximum output of the two burners, which determines the size of the gas pipe and meter required. A footprint of 900 mm width allows the hob to fit standard worktop runs without custom cutting, while the 400 mm depth leaves room for a backsplash or additional storage beneath. The 850 mm height matches most under-counter refrigeration and prep tables, maintaining a continuous work surface.
Cleaning is designed around the materials used. Stainless steel wipes clean with a damp cloth, while the porcelain-enamelled grates and drip trays can be soaked in hot water and detergent. The raised edges of the hob surface prevent liquids from seeping underneath, and the sealed joint between the top plate and the undershelf stops debris from collecting in hard-to-reach corners. The flame-failure safety device requires no maintenance beyond ensuring the pilot light remains clear of grease.
The undershelf provides additional storage for pots, lids or ingredients, keeping them within arm's reach during service. The entire unit is freestanding and can be moved if the kitchen layout changes, provided the gas supply is disconnected by a qualified engineer.
