This electric hob is an excellent solution when a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean appliance is needed for intensive daily use in restaurants, cafés, or canteens.
6 cooking zones with a diameter of 220 mm and a power of 2.6 kW.
An electric hob that spreads heat evenly across six cast iron hotplates, each controlled by its own 7-position switch. The cast iron surface holds and releases heat steadily, so pots and pans of different sizes receive the same temperature without hot spots. A built-in thermal cut-out stops the plate from overheating, even when left unattended during busy service.
The operator places a pan on any of the six zones, selects the desired heat level with the rotary switch, and starts cooking. The switch clicks through seven distinct positions, giving precise control from a gentle simmer to a rolling boil. Each plate operates independently, so multiple dishes can be prepared at once without flavour transfer or uneven cooking. A drip tray beneath the front edge catches spills and splashes, keeping the worktop clean and reducing slip hazards.
The hob is built on a frame of AISI 304 stainless steel, a grade chosen for its resistance to corrosion and staining in a busy kitchen. The top surface is seamless, with no crevices where food or grease can lodge, and the drip tray slides out for quick cleaning. Cast iron hotplates sit flush with the steel top, making it easy to slide heavy pots without lifting. Knobs and handles are made from a heat-resistant composite that stays cool to the touch, even after hours of use, reducing the risk of burns.
Stable legs raise the unit to a standard worktop height, allowing it to sit alongside other countertop appliances without needing a dedicated base. The 1200 mm width provides enough space for six pans side by side, while the 700 mm depth keeps the hob within reach of the operator without overhanging the work surface. The 400 V three-phase supply draws a balanced load across the phases, preventing circuit overload in a professional kitchen where multiple appliances run simultaneously.
Cleaning is limited to the parts the entry names: the stainless steel top, the drip tray and the cast iron plates. The steel top can be wiped with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, while the drip tray is removed and washed separately. Cast iron plates should be cleaned with a non-abrasive pad once cooled, to preserve the seasoned surface and prevent rust. The heat-resistant knobs are wiped down with a damp cloth and never immersed in water.
