This electric hob is an excellent solution when a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean appliance is needed for intensive daily use in restaurants, cafés, or canteens.
6 cooking zones with a diameter of 220 mm and a power of 2.6 kW + electric oven GN 2/1
An electric hob and static oven in one unit give a professional kitchen six cast-iron cooking zones and a full-size oven cavity on a single footprint. The hob heats by resistance elements beneath each round cast-iron plate; the oven circulates heat from shielded upper and lower elements without a fan, so dishes cook evenly from radiant heat alone.
The hob's six round cast-iron zones each have a seven-position rotary switch that sets the element's output in steps. A built-in thermostatic safety device cuts power if the zone overheats, preventing damage and fire risk. The oven has two separate thermostats—one for the top element, one for the bottom—so the operator can choose between gentle baking, crisp browning or a balanced heat throughout the cavity. Temperature is adjustable from chill to 300 °C, covering everything from slow roasting to rapid grilling.
To use the hob, the operator places a pan on the chosen zone, turns the switch to the desired setting and waits for the element to reach temperature. The oven is loaded with a GN 2/1 tray, the door closed, and the two thermostats set. Once cooking is complete, the hob switches are turned off and the oven thermostats returned to zero. The oven door is left ajar to cool before the tray is removed.
The entire unit is built from stainless steel, including the hob surface with its anti-drip edges that channel spills into a removable trough for quick cleaning. The oven cavity has a thick two-part steel base that can be lifted out for thorough scrubbing, while the door's inner steel panel and tight gasket keep heat inside and energy use low. Controls and handles are made from heat-resistant materials that stay cool enough to touch even after hours of use.
Height-adjustable legs of AISI 18/10 stainless steel let the unit sit level on uneven floors and align precisely with the worktop. The 1200 mm width fits standard kitchen runs, while the 700 mm depth leaves room for safe movement behind the chef. A 400 V 3-phase supply is required, matching the circuit used by most professional catering equipment.
The hob's six 2.6 kW zones and the oven's 5.48 kW element draw a combined load that must be wired to a dedicated circuit with adequate capacity. The 850 mm height allows comfortable access for chefs of different statures without stooping or stretching. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and staining, while the anti-drip edges and removable oven base simplify daily cleaning.
Cleaning involves wiping the hob surface after each service, emptying the drip trough, and scrubbing the oven cavity with a non-abrasive cleaner. The two-part oven base can be lifted out for deeper cleaning, and the door gasket should be checked regularly for wear to maintain heat retention.
The EASY 700 E7/CUET6LE is a single model with no variants. It is categorised under professional electric ranges with static ovens in the CASTA catalogue.
