A gas smooth-ribbed grill surface heats a solid steel plate from below with a gas burner, transferring heat evenly across the cooking area. The steel's thickness holds and spreads the heat, so food browns uniformly without hot spots. The neutral cabinet beneath provides storage for ingredients or utensils without adding to the cooking load, keeping the worktop clear during service.

To use the grill, the operator opens the gas supply, presses the piezoelectric ignition and turns the control knob to the desired flame level. The thermocouple monitors the flame; if it goes out, the gas safety tap cuts the supply automatically. Food is placed directly on the smooth steel surface, where the heat sears and marks it. Excess fat and juices run into the front grease drain channel and collect in the removable fat drawer, reducing flare-ups and keeping the work area clean. When cooking is finished, the gas is turned off and the surface is left to cool.

The worktop and splashguards are made of AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners, resisting corrosion and making daily wiping easier. The 15 mm thick AISI 430 heating plate conducts heat evenly and withstands repeated thermal cycles. A flue chimney at the top, made from acid-resistant material, draws steam away from the cooking area and protects the unit from kitchen fumes. Strong legs raise the grill to bench height, allowing it to sit alongside other worktop equipment without needing a separate stand.

The control knobs are made from heat-resistant material with cool-grip technology, so they stay safe to touch even after hours of use. A broad temperature range lets the operator move from low simmering to high searing without changing equipment. The 12 kW power rating means the grill can handle a full load of food without losing heat, suitable for a busy service.

The footprint of 800 by 700 mm fits standard worktop runs, leaving space for other appliances on either side. The 850 mm height matches most kitchen counters, so staff can work comfortably without bending. The weight of the unit keeps it stable during use, while the bench-mount design allows it to be moved with a trolley if the kitchen layout changes.

Cleaning involves scraping the surface while still warm, wiping down the splashguards and worktop, and emptying the fat collection drawer. The grease drain channel and rounded corners prevent food debris from collecting, and the stainless steel resists staining from acidic or salty foods. The flue chimney requires occasional brushing to remove grease deposits, and the gas burner should be checked for blockages to maintain even heating.

The model is supplied as a single unit with neutral cabinet, ready for bench mounting.
