This electric hob is an excellent solution when a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean appliance is needed for intensive daily use in restaurants, cafés, or canteens.
4 cooking zones with a diameter of 220 mm and a power of 2.6 kW.
An electric hob that delivers steady, even heat across four independent cooking zones, each powered by a 2.6 kW element beneath a cast iron hotplate. The cast iron spreads the heat evenly, eliminating hot spots and allowing consistent results whether searing, simmering or holding. A thermal cut-out on each zone prevents overheating, while the 7-position rotary switch gives the chef fine control over the temperature, from a gentle warm to a rolling boil.
To use the hob, place the pan on the chosen hotplate, turn the corresponding knob to the desired setting, and wait for the plate to reach temperature. The heat-resistant knob stays cool enough to touch even after hours of use, reducing the risk of burns. A built-in drip tray beneath the front edge catches spills and splashes, keeping the work surface clean without interrupting service. Once cooking is complete, turn the knob to the off position and allow the hotplate to cool before wiping it down.
The hob is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, a material chosen for its resistance to corrosion, ease of cleaning and compliance with hygiene regulations. The top measures 800 mm across, providing space for four standard pots or pans side by side. Four stable legs raise the unit 305 mm above the counter, allowing it to sit flush with adjacent worktops or be installed as a standalone module. The 400 V three-phase supply ensures the hob draws power evenly across the phases, reducing the risk of tripping breakers in a busy kitchen.
Each 2.6 kW element represents a moderate load on the electrical circuit, allowing the hob to run alongside other equipment without overloading a single phase. The 700 mm depth leaves room for large stockpots while keeping the front edge within easy reach. The weight of the unit, combined with the wide stance of the legs, prevents tipping or wobble during vigorous stirring or lifting.
Cleaning is straightforward: remove the drip tray, wash it separately, and wipe the stainless steel surface and cast iron hotplates with a damp cloth. The heat-resistant knobs can be cleaned in place with a mild detergent. No special tools or disassembly are required for routine maintenance.
