CASTA Gas Fryer with Cabinet 17 L LQ/FLG1V17

This CASTA LQ/FLG1V17 is a professional gas fryer featuring a cabinet base. Its construction is from AISI 304 stainless steel, with a pressed tank that has a 1.5 mm wall thickness and rounded edges.

A fryer operates by heating oil to a high temperature, into which food is immersed for cooking. In this model, heat is generated by high-efficiency burners. Flame tubes containing internal fins are situated inside the tank, acting as heat exchangers to transfer energy from the gas combustion to the oil. The oil temperature is controlled via a gas supply valve connected to these burners, allowing for regulation of the heat input. A safety thermocouple is included for operational security.

To use the fryer, food is placed in the provided baskets and lowered into the heated oil. The oil temperature is set using the gas supply valve, with a maximum working temperature of 190 °C. For safety, a thermostat is in place; if the oil temperature exceeds 235 °C, a safety thermostat will cut off the gas supply. Both the working and safety thermostat sensors are located within the tank. The unit is ignited using piezoelectric ignition powered by an independent battery.

After cooking, the food is removed from the oil. For cleaning and maintenance, the oil can be drained through a chromed brass tap into a steel bowl fitted with a stainless steel filter. The fryer includes baskets, a lid, and a stainless steel oil draining tank.

The cabinet doors are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and feature magnetic closures. The unit stands on adjustable legs, also made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

The fryer has a volume of 17 litres. Its power rating is 16.5 kW. The external dimensions are 400 mm in length, 900 mm in width, and 850 mm in height.
