A gas pasta cooker heats water rapidly with a burner beneath the tank, keeping it at a rolling boil so that strands cook evenly without sticking. The false bottom lifts baskets away from direct heat, preventing scorching while the water circulates freely. Steam vents through an integrated chimney, reducing humidity at the worktop and keeping the kitchen atmosphere comfortable during service.

To begin, the operator fills the 40 litre tank via the front tap, then ignites the multigas burner with the piezoelectric starter. Once the water reaches a full boil, pasta baskets are lowered into the tank; the rounded corners and false bottom make it easy to slide them in and out without damage. After cooking, the baskets rest on the perforated draining shelf at the front, where excess water and starch flow into the overflow channel and out through the ball-valve drain. A second tap allows quick top-ups during service without interrupting the boil.

The entire unit is built from AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, while the tank itself is made of thicker AISI 316 stainless steel for extra resistance to salt and moisture. The 2 mm worktop includes an overflow drain and basket shelves, and the rear chimney carries steam away from the cooking area. Adjustable legs let the unit sit level on uneven floors, and the front control panel groups the gas valve, ignition and water taps for one-handed operation.

A 15 kW gas burner delivers enough heat to bring 40 litres of water to the boil quickly and maintain it through continuous use, making it suitable for high-volume service. The footprint of 400 mm depth, 900 mm width and 850 mm height fits standard worktop runs, while the 40 litre capacity allows multiple batches without refilling. The weight of the unit ensures stability, and the stainless steel construction withstands daily cleaning with commercial detergents.

Cleaning follows the construction: the tank's rounded corners and false bottom lift out for scrubbing, the perforated draining shelf unclips, and the ball-valve drain opens fully to flush starch residue. The overflow channel and rear chimney are accessible from the front, so no part of the water path is left untouched. Adjustable legs are wiped down, and the control panel is kept dry to protect the gas valve and ignition.

Baskets and lids are not supplied with the unit, so they must be ordered separately to match the 40 litre tank. The cooker is certified to EC standards for gas safety and hygiene, confirming it meets professional kitchen requirements across the European Union.
