A professional and durable gas grill with a ribbed surface that ensures even heat distribution and easy cleaning. Equipped with safety features, it is ideal for professional kitchens.
A gas ribbed griddle heats a solid metal plate with gas burners beneath it, transferring heat directly to the food. The ridges on the plate create sear marks and allow fat to drain away, giving grilled texture without steaming. Because the heat comes from below and spreads evenly across the plate, every part of the surface reaches the same temperature, so batches cook at the same rate and the kitchen can keep up with service demand.
The operator lights the burners, sets the thermostat to the required temperature between 100 °C and 240 °C, and waits for the plate to reach it. Food is placed directly on the ribbed chrome surface, where the ridges conduct heat into the contact points while the valleys let fat run off. The rear chimney draws vapours away from the worktop, keeping the air clear. When cooking is finished, the burners are turned off and the plate is left to cool before cleaning.
The LADYQ 900 is built from AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, which resists corrosion and wipes clean after each service. A 15 mm bright hard-chrome cooking plate distributes heat evenly across its entire surface, preventing hot spots and ensuring consistent results. Stainless steel side splash guards shield the surrounding work area from grease and food debris, maintaining hygiene standards.
A front drainage channel collects fat as it runs off the plate, directing it to a removable grease drawer that can be emptied and cleaned separately. The thermostat switch allows precise temperature control, while a manually reset safety thermostat cuts the gas supply if the plate overheats. Heat-resistant handles and control knobs protect the operator during use.
The 6.9 kW power rating indicates the load on the gas supply, so the kitchen must have a line capable of delivering that flow. The 400 mm depth and 900 mm width determine the space it occupies on the worktop, while the 275 mm height fits beneath standard overhead extraction canopies. The chrome plate thickness of 15 mm ensures durability and heat retention, reducing temperature fluctuations during cooking.
After service, the chrome plate is scraped to remove residue, then wiped with a damp cloth. The grease drawer is removed, emptied and washed. The drainage channel and splash guards are cleaned to prevent fat build-up, and the rear chimney is checked for blockages to maintain proper ventilation.
The LADYQ 900 is a freestanding worktop unit designed for integration into professional kitchen lines.
