Professional-grade gas hob with neutral cabinet, where quality meets functionality. Designed for intensive use, combining reliability, safety, and modern design.
4 burners: 4 x 4,5 kW
1 neutral cabinet
A gas hob built for continuous service in professional kitchens, combining four high-output burners with a seamless stainless-steel work surface and an integrated neutral cupboard below. Gas hobs of this type draw mains gas through a valve train to open burners. Each burner mixes the gas with air in a venturi throat, creating a combustible mixture that is ignited by a standing pilot or spark electrode. The flame transfers heat directly to the pan base, giving immediate response to changes in the control setting. Because the heat source is beneath the pan, the hob surface itself stays cooler than an electric equivalent, reducing accidental burns and making it easier to keep the surrounding area clean. To use the hob, the operator first checks that the gas supply valve is open. Each burner is lit individually: the control knob is pressed in and turned to the ignition position, which releases gas to the pilot and creates a spark. Once the pilot is alight, the knob is released and the flame is adjusted to the desired intensity. Pans are placed directly on the cast-iron grates; the grates are designed to hold the pan steady and to conduct heat evenly across the base. When cooking is complete, the knobs are turned to the off position, cutting the gas supply and extinguishing the flames. The pilot remains lit until the main gas valve is closed, ready for the next use. The work surface is made from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, pressed with a 22 mm deep recessed trough around the perimeter. This trough catches spills and juices, preventing them from running onto the floor and keeping the work area tidy. The burners themselves are cast from chrome-plated cast iron, chosen for its resistance to high temperatures and thermal shock. Each burner is fitted with a thermoelectric safety device: if the flame is accidentally extinguished, the device cuts the gas supply within seconds, preventing unburned gas from accumulating. The grates are also cast iron, coated with a glossy porcelain enamel that resists acids and alkalis, so they can be used with single or double burners without staining or corrosion. Control knobs are moulded from heat-resistant material and feature a cool-grip design, allowing safe adjustment even when the hob is at full heat. Four adjustable legs, made from the same AISI 304 stainless steel, provide stability on uneven floors and raise the unit to a comfortable working height. The 800 mm width and 700 mm depth give the hob a compact footprint that fits standard worktop runs while leaving room for adjacent equipment. The 850 mm height places the burners at a convenient level for standing chefs. The four 4.5 kW burners allow simultaneous high-heat cooking across all stations, suitable for sautéing, boiling and searing. The neutral cupboard below provides enclosed storage for utensils, pans or ingredients, keeping them within reach but out of the way. The deep-relief stainless-steel worktop channels every spill directly into its sloped trough, so the hob stays dry while you cook. The stainless-steel work surface and trough can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent; the trough's depth prevents spills from overflowing. The porcelain-coated grates are removed for washing in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher if space allows. Burner caps and heads are lifted off and cleaned separately, ensuring no food debris blocks the gas ports. The cool-grip knobs are wiped with a damp cloth; they should not be immersed in water. The adjustable legs are checked periodically to ensure they remain tight and level. The unit is certified to EC standards, confirming compliance with essential safety and performance requirements for professional catering equipment.
