This electric hob is an excellent solution when a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean appliance is needed for intensive daily use in restaurants, cafés, or canteens.
6 cooking zones with a diameter of 220 mm and a power of 2.6 kW.
An electric hob that spreads heat evenly across six cast-iron plates, each switched in seven steps to match the cooking task from simmer to sear. The plates sit flush in a pressed stainless-steel worktop that collects spills in a recessed channel, keeping the surface clear during service.
Electric current passes through resistance elements beneath each cast-iron plate, turning energy into radiant and conducted heat. Cast iron holds the heat and releases it steadily, so the pan stays at the chosen temperature without constant adjustment. The seven-position switch gives the chef control over the rate of heat transfer, from gentle warming to rapid boiling.
To use the hob, the operator places the pan on the chosen plate, turns the knob to the desired setting, and waits for the plate to reach working temperature. The indicator light shows when the element is live. Once the plate is hot, the pan is loaded and cooking begins. The chef monitors the food, adjusting the knob as needed to maintain the correct heat. After cooking, the knob is turned to zero and the pan removed. The recessed channel catches any drips, which can be wiped away without reaching across the hot plates.
The entire unit is built from AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, a brushed surface that resists fingerprints and scratches. The worktop is pressed in one piece, with the recessed channel formed into the steel. Six round cast-iron plates, each 220 mm in diameter, are set into the worktop. Control knobs and handles are made from heat-resistant material designed to stay cool to the touch, even when the plates are at full heat. Adjustable stainless-steel legs allow the hob to be levelled on uneven floors and set to the correct height for the work surface.
A 400 V three-phase supply is required, drawing 2.6 kW per plate when all six are in use. This load is typical for a professional electric hob and matches the circuit provision in commercial kitchens. The 1200 mm width provides space for six pans side by side, allowing multiple dishes to be prepared simultaneously. The 700 mm depth fits within standard worktop runs, and the 275 mm height leaves room for storage beneath. The stainless-steel construction and Scotch Brite finish simplify cleaning, as the surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Each plate is controlled independently, so different cooking processes can run at the same time. The seven-position switch allows fine adjustment of heat output, from low simmer to high boil. The recessed channel collects spills and liquids, reducing the risk of slips and keeping the work area tidy. Adjustable legs ensure the hob sits level and stable on any floor.
The hob is supplied as a single unit, ready for connection to a 400 V three-phase supply.
