This electric hob is an excellent solution when a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean appliance is needed for intensive daily use in restaurants, cafés, or canteens.
2 cooking zones with a diameter of 220 mm and a power of 2.6 kW.
An electric stove top designed for continuous service in professional kitchens, combining two heating zones with a neutral under-counter cabinet. The unit draws power from a 400 V three-phase supply, distributing the load evenly across two separate circuits to avoid overloading a single phase during peak service.
Each heating zone uses a cast iron plate that stores and radiates heat evenly across its surface. The plate is heated by an electric element beneath it; as the element warms, the cast iron absorbs the heat and spreads it uniformly, eliminating cold spots that can slow cooking or cause uneven results. A seven-position rotary switch controls the power to each element, allowing the chef to select anything from a gentle simmer to a rapid boil without moving pans or adjusting flame height.
To start cooking, the operator places a pan on one or both plates, turns the corresponding knob to the desired setting, and waits for the plate to reach temperature. The cast iron surface glows faintly when hot, giving a visual cue that the zone is ready. Once cooking is complete, the knob is returned to the off position and the pan removed. The residual heat in the plate can be used for finishing or holding, but the element itself cools quickly once switched off, reducing the risk of accidental burns during cleaning.
The stove top is built entirely of AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, a brushed surface that resists fingerprints and scratches while maintaining a uniform appearance under kitchen lighting. The worktop is pressed with a recessed trough around the perimeter, collecting spills and drips that would otherwise run onto the floor or adjacent equipment. Below the worktop, a neutral cabinet provides enclosed storage for utensils, small equipment, or ingredients, keeping the work area uncluttered.
Control knobs are moulded from heat-resistant material with a cool-grip texture, remaining safe to touch even when the plates are at full temperature. Adjustable stainless steel legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors or matched to the height of adjacent work surfaces, ensuring a continuous worktop line across the kitchen.
The 400 V three-phase voltage requirement means the stove top must be connected to a dedicated circuit capable of supplying the full load without voltage drop, a common arrangement in commercial kitchens where multiple high-power appliances run simultaneously. The two 2.6 kW elements draw a balanced current across the phases, reducing the risk of tripping breakers during service.
The 400 mm depth, 700 mm width and 850 mm height give the unit a compact footprint that fits into standard kitchen runs, while the 220 mm diameter of the cast iron plates accommodates most professional pans without overhang. The stainless steel construction and sealed worktop trough simplify cleaning: spills are wiped into the trough, and the brushed finish hides minor scratches that would show on polished surfaces.
The model is supplied as a single unit; no variants or additional modules are listed for this article.
