This gas fryer is a reliable and efficient appliance designed for professional use in kitchens where fast and even frying is essential.
2 tanks of 8+8 litres
A gas fryer with two independent 8 L tanks lets a busy kitchen run two batches at once or keep separate oils for fish and chips. Each tank heats through flame tubes submerged in the oil; the tubes transfer heat directly from the gas burners, so the oil warms quickly and evenly without hot spots. The burners fire only when the thermostat calls for heat, cutting gas use while keeping the oil at the set temperature even when cold food is lowered into it.
The operator fills each tank with 8 L of oil, sets the gas valve to the desired temperature and ignites the burners with the built-in piezoelectric starter. Once the oil reaches the working range, the baskets are loaded with food and lowered into the tanks. The fryer holds the temperature automatically, so the operator can start the next batch or attend to other tasks. When the food is done, the baskets are lifted out, drained over the tank and the food is transferred to a holding area. A stainless-steel draining tank collects used oil for filtering or disposal.
The tanks, lid and draining tank are pressed from 1.5 mm AISI 304 stainless steel in a single piece with rounded corners. The adjustable legs and magnetic-closing door are also stainless steel. Inside each tank, flame tubes carry the heat from the burners to the oil. A mechanical gas valve controls the temperature, while a safety thermostat and thermocouple shut off the gas if the oil exceeds 230 °C.
The gas connection delivers 11.6 kW, which is the load on the kitchen's gas supply. The footprint of 400 mm by 700 mm fits a standard worktop space, while the 850 mm height clears most overhead cupboards. The 8 L capacity in each tank sets the maximum batch size, and the twin-tank design doubles throughput without increasing the footprint.
Cleaning starts with draining the oil into the stainless-steel tank. The rounded corners and seamless pressing of the fryer tanks let the operator wipe out residue without trapped corners. The flame tubes and probes are fixed in place and can be brushed clean once the oil is removed. The adjustable legs are wiped down, and the magnetic door is opened and closed to keep the seal free of debris.
The LADY 700 L7/FLG2V8 is the twin-tank variant of the CASTA gas fryer range, equipped with baskets, lid and oil draining tank as standard.
