CASTA LADY 700 gas smooth grill surface for professional kitchens

A gas smooth grill surface heats a solid metal plate with a gas burner beneath it. The plate absorbs the heat and spreads it evenly across its surface, so every part of the food cooks at the same rate without hot spots. This method gives a consistent sear and keeps juices inside the food instead of letting them drip onto flames, which cuts smoke and flare-ups in a busy kitchen.

The operator lights the burner with the piezo ignition, then sets the thermostatic tap to the desired heat level between 0 and 8. Food is placed directly on the chrome-plated steel plate; there is no need for a separate griddle or basket. As the food cooks, excess fat and juices run off the plate into a front drainage hole and collect in a removable drawer beneath. Splash guards on three sides keep the worktop and walls clean.

The grill is built from AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, which resists corrosion and wipes clean quickly. The cooking surface itself is a 15 mm thick chrome-plated steel plate that holds heat well and distributes it evenly. A high-efficiency gas burner with two flame tubes sits under the plate, while a thermocouple shuts off the gas if the flame goes out.

The 12 kW burner draws a steady load from the gas supply, so the kitchen must have a line sized for that output. The 700 mm by 700 mm footprint fits on a standard worktop or can be built into a counter, while the 275 mm height leaves room for a shelf or cupboard underneath. Stainless steel splash guards add a few millimetres to the width and depth but keep the surrounding area free of grease.

After service, the chrome-plated plate is wiped down with a scraper and cloth. The grease drawer slides out for emptying and washing, and the splash guards unclip for thorough cleaning. All control knobs and handles are heat-resistant to protect staff during use and cleaning.
