This electric hob is an excellent solution when a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean appliance is needed for intensive daily use in restaurants, cafés, or canteens.
6 cooking zones with a diameter of 300 mm and a power of 4,0 kW.
An electric hob heats food by passing current through resistance elements beneath each cooking plate. The elements convert electricity into heat, which the cast iron plates then spread evenly across the surface. This method gives steady, controllable temperatures without open flames, making it suitable for precise cooking and consistent results in professional kitchens. The LADYQ 900 is operated by placing pots or pans on the four 300 mm square cast iron plates. Each plate has its own 7-position switch, allowing the chef to set the desired heat level independently. A warning light beside each switch glows when the element is active, showing which zones are in use. The internal safety thermostat on every plate cuts power if the temperature rises too high, preventing damage and reducing fire risk. The hob is built from AISI 304 stainless steel throughout, including the 2 mm thick worktop. A recessed channel along the rear edge catches spills and liquids, keeping the work area tidy and speeding up cleaning. Handles and control knobs are made of heat-resistant material with cool-touch technology, so they remain safe to grip even after hours of use. The 400 V three-phase supply delivers 6 kW to each of the six zones, providing the high power needed for rapid heating and sustained high temperatures. The 1200 mm width and 900 mm depth fit standard worktop layouts, while the 275 mm height allows comfortable standing access. The Scotch Brite finish resists scratches and fingerprints, maintaining a professional appearance under heavy use. The Scotch Brite finish on the stainless steel worktop scatters light to hide fingerprints and spills, so the hob stays looking clean between services without scrubbing. The recessed channel can be rinsed out to remove accumulated liquids. Cast iron plates should be cleaned after each service to prevent residue build-up, and the safety thermostats require no regular maintenance beyond visual checks for damage or wear. The LADYQ 900 is categorised as a heavy-duty electric hob for professional catering environments.
