A professional-grade gas hob where quality meets functionality. Designed for intensive use, combining reliability, safety, and modern design.
2 burners: 3,5 kW + 5,5 kW
A gas hob built for continuous service in a professional kitchen, combining two high-output burners with a seamless undershelf cupboard for organised worktop storage. The unit runs on natural gas, drawing its supply through standard catering connections to deliver controlled heat where the chef needs it.
Gas hobs of this type transfer energy directly from the flame to the pan. The burner heats the base of the vessel, while the surrounding air remains cooler, concentrating the heat where it is needed. Porcelain-enamelled cast-iron burners distribute the flame evenly across the pan's surface, preventing hot spots and allowing precise temperature control. A stabilised flame ensures consistent output even when the kitchen environment changes, and the mechanical valves let the operator adjust the heat instantly without waiting for electronics to respond.
To use the hob, the chef first opens the gas supply valve beneath the worktop. A manual piezo igniter lights the pilot flame; once the pilot is established, the main burner valve is turned to the desired setting. The flame-safety thermocouple monitors the pilot; if it extinguishes, the gas supply to the main burner cuts off automatically. When cooking is complete, the valve is turned off and the hob cools rapidly, leaving the work surface ready for the next task.
The hob is constructed from 2 mm AISI 304 stainless steel, formed and welded into a single seamless top sheet. A raised rim around the perimeter contains spills, while a slight depression beneath each burner collects any overflow into two removable stainless-steel drip trays. The trays are 95 mm deep, allowing them to hold a full service's worth of drips without risk of splashing. Black enamelled cast-iron pan supports sit flush with the top sheet, creating a continuous surface that is easy to wipe down between services.
Controls consist of two mechanical gas valves with cool-touch knobs. Each knob adjusts the flame height from low simmer to full output, giving the chef direct tactile feedback. The undershelf cupboard is a single compartment enclosed by a hinged door, providing storage for pots, pans or cleaning supplies without cluttering the worktop.
The 3.5 kW and 5.5 kW burners indicate the maximum gas load the hob will draw from the supply. In a typical kitchen, this requires a dedicated gas line capable of delivering the combined flow without pressure drop. The 400 mm depth and 900 mm width set the footprint on the worktop, while the 850 mm height allows the hob to sit flush with standard 900 mm work surfaces. The stainless-steel construction and sealed seams mean the unit can be wiped down with a damp cloth and commercial sanitiser after each service, with the drip trays removed for thorough cleaning.
The undershelf is a single fixed compartment; no other variants or options are specified for this model. The hob is listed in the professional catering catalogue under gas cooking equipment with integrated storage.
