Gas WOK Cooker
Burners: 2
A professional wok gas cooking stove delivers intense, even heat across a broad, shallow cooking surface, allowing chefs to sear, toss and stir-fry ingredients at high speed without losing temperature. Gas burners beneath the worktop heat the wok ring directly; the ring then radiates and conducts heat into the wok itself. Because the flame is adjustable, the same burner can switch from rapid boiling to gentle simmering in seconds, making it possible to prepare everything from crisp vegetables to delicate sauces on one appliance.
The sequence begins by selecting the appropriate wok ring for the cookware size and the power level for the dish. The ring is placed over the burner, the gas supply is opened, and the burner is lit. Once the ring reaches working temperature, the wok is positioned on it and the ingredients are added. Constant stirring or tossing keeps the food moving, preventing hot spots and ensuring even cooking. After use, the wok is removed, the burner turned off, and the drip pan emptied and cleaned.
The unit is built from 2.5 mm thick AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel, reinforced with welded pipes for stability under heavy loads. Removable drip pans beneath each burner catch spills and grease, simplifying daily cleaning. The entire structure is corrosion-resistant, designed for continuous use in a busy kitchen.
Controls consist of individual gas valves for each burner, allowing precise adjustment of flame size and heat output. The choice of wok ring diameters and power ratings—from 3.0 kW to 21.0 kW—lets the operator match the burner to the cooking task, whether high-speed stir-frying or low-temperature simmering.
A footprint of 1000 mm by 600 mm fits standard worktop layouts, while a height of 500 mm aligns with most kitchen extraction canopies. The 94 kg weight ensures the stove remains stable during vigorous cooking, yet the unit can still be moved with a pallet truck or trolley when the kitchen is reorganised.
Daily upkeep involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces, removing and washing the drip pans, and checking that the gas jets are free of debris. The removable rings and pans can be soaked in hot water and detergent, then rinsed and dried before reassembly.
The stove is offered with six burner configurations—C, T, S, G, M and P—each providing a different power level and ring diameter to suit various wok sizes and cooking styles.
Designed for professional kitchens, the appliance is listed in the CASTA catalogue under gas cooking equipment for Asian and multi-cuisine restaurants.
