Gas WOK Cooker
Burners: 4
A professional wok gas cooking stove designed for high-output commercial kitchens, combining powerful atmospheric burners with a robust stainless steel worktop and integrated storage cabinet. The unit delivers intense, controllable heat directly to wok pans, allowing rapid searing, stir-frying and deep-frying at consistent temperatures. Gas burners beneath the worktop generate an open flame that heats the wok evenly across its curved base, concentrating heat where it is needed while the operator can adjust the flame height to match the cooking stage—high for initial searing, lower for simmering or finishing. The atmospheric design draws in primary air at the burner, mixing it with gas before ignition to produce a clean, stable flame without forced air or electric ignition systems.
The sequence begins with selecting the appropriate burner type and wok ring diameter for the dish. The operator places the wok on the ring, lights the burner and adjusts the gas valve to set the desired flame height. Ingredients are added in stages, stirred or tossed continuously to ensure even cooking and prevent hot spots. Once the dish is complete, the flame is turned off and the wok removed. Removable drip trays beneath the burners collect any spills or oil, simplifying daily cleaning and keeping the work area hygienic.
The entire unit is constructed from AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel, including the 2.5 mm thick cooking top, welded pipe supports, body, legs and cabinet. This material resists corrosion, withstands frequent cleaning with commercial detergents and maintains a hygienic surface that does not harbour bacteria. A 200 mm high rear splashback protects the wall behind the stove from grease and liquid splashes, reducing the need for wall cleaning and helping to meet food-safety standards.
Controls are limited to individual gas valves for each burner, allowing precise manual adjustment of flame height. The valves are positioned on the front apron for easy access while cooking. The neutral cabinet beneath the worktop provides enclosed storage for utensils, ingredients or small equipment, keeping the kitchen organised without additional floor space.
The 2000 mm width accommodates multiple burners side by side, enabling several woks to be used simultaneously in a busy service. The 700 mm depth fits within standard worktop runs while leaving sufficient clearance behind for wall protection and ventilation. The 850 mm height aligns with adjacent worktops and hobs, creating a continuous work surface that operators can move along without interruption. The gas-powered design requires no electrical supply, simplifying installation in kitchens where power circuits are already at capacity.
Daily maintenance involves removing and washing the drip trays, wiping down the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and checking that the gas valves turn smoothly. The splashback can be cleaned in place with a non-abrasive cleaner to prevent grease build-up. The removable trays and smooth surfaces reduce the time needed for cleaning, allowing the stove to be ready for the next service quickly.
A 2000/600/850 mm model is also available, offering a narrower footprint for kitchens with limited space while retaining the same burner options and construction materials.
