Gas WOK Cooker
Burners: 4
A professional wok gas cooking stove combines intense heat with precise control for high-speed stir-frying, searing and boiling. Gas burners beneath the worktop heat a wok ring directly; the ring conducts the flame evenly around the curved base of the wok, concentrating heat where the food moves fastest. The open flame responds instantly to the tap, letting the chef raise or lower the temperature in seconds. This method keeps oil at the right heat for crisp textures without burning, and it brings liquids to a rolling boil faster than electric elements can. The neutral cabinet below provides dry, ventilated storage for pans, ingredients or utensils, keeping the worktop clear during service.
The sequence begins by selecting the appropriate wok ring for the burner type and pan size. The ring is placed over the burner, the gas tap is opened and the flame is lit. Once the ring is glowing, the wok is set into it and the food is added. The chef stirs continuously, using the long handle to keep the wok moving over the hottest part of the ring. After cooking, the wok is removed, the flame is turned off and the drip tray beneath the burner is pulled out for cleaning. The neutral cabinet doors are opened to retrieve or store items without interrupting the cooking flow.
The entire unit is constructed from 2.5 mm thick AISI 304 18/10 stainless steel, including the worktop, body, legs and splashback. Welded pipe supports under the worktop reinforce the structure, preventing flex under heavy loads. A 200 mm high rear splashback protects the wall from grease and steam, while removable drip trays beneath each burner catch spills and simplify daily upkeep.
Controls consist of individual gas taps for each burner, allowing independent adjustment of flame size. The taps are positioned along the front edge of the worktop for easy reach during cooking.
A length of 2500 mm provides space for multiple burners side by side, letting a single chef manage several woks at once. The 700 mm depth fits standard worktop depths in professional kitchens, while the 850 mm height matches the ergonomic reach of most chefs. The gas-powered burners draw from the kitchen's existing gas supply, eliminating the need for electrical circuits and allowing the stove to be positioned anywhere the gas line reaches.
Daily cleaning involves removing the drip trays, wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and rinsing the splashback. The removable trays can be washed separately and dried before reinsertion. Periodic checks of the gas connections and burner ports ensure consistent performance and safety.
A 2500/600/850 mm variant is available for kitchens with tighter space requirements.
