A professional ice coffee machine designed for high-volume service, the CREMINTERNATIONAL Zircon 2gr TA combines rapid chilling with precise espresso extraction. The unit lowers the temperature of freshly brewed coffee immediately after brewing, locking in flavour and aroma while preventing dilution. This method preserves the intensity of the coffee and produces a crisp, refreshing iced beverage without the bitterness that can develop when hot coffee cools slowly over ice.
At the core of the machine is a volumetric motor pump that draws water through a particulate filter and two retention valves. The pump delivers a measured, steady flow to the brew group, ensuring each shot receives the same volume of water at the same pressure. A direct pre-infusion brew head then introduces the water gradually, allowing the coffee grounds to expand and release their full flavour before full extraction begins. This staged contact between water and coffee yields a balanced, aromatic shot even when larger cups are used.
The extraction process is regulated by a copper boiler fitted with a pressure control valve. Copper conducts heat evenly and retains it reliably, maintaining a stable temperature throughout the brewing cycle. A drain tap on the boiler simplifies routine maintenance, allowing sediment and scale to be flushed out without dismantling the unit. Overheating protection and an automatic shut-off triggered by low water levels ensure safe operation during extended service periods.
The machine offers programmable drink dosing, enabling baristas to set portion sizes for single or double shots and repeat them consistently. A separate hot water tap and a stainless steel steam wand extend the menu beyond coffee, supporting the preparation of milk-based drinks and teas. Built-in rinse functionality cleans the brew group automatically, reducing manual intervention and maintaining hygiene between uses.
Constructed with a stainless steel exterior and a copper boiler, the Zircon 2gr TA is built to withstand the demands of a busy café or restaurant. The controls include a digital interface for programming dosing, temperature settings, and rinse cycles, along with manual switches for steam and hot water delivery. The 11.5 litre water reservoir supports continuous service without frequent refilling, while the 45 kg weight ensures stability on the worktop.
The 3.33 kW power rating indicates the load the machine places on the electrical circuit, requiring a dedicated 230 V single-phase supply. The footprint of 690 mm by 590 mm fits within standard worktop dimensions, allowing integration into existing counter layouts without major reconfiguration.
Cleaning involves daily rinsing of the brew group and steam wand, periodic descaling of the copper boiler via the drain tap, and regular replacement of the particulate filter. The stainless steel surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth, while the rinse programme handles internal cleaning of the brew head.
The Zircon 2gr TA is part of the Zircon series, positioned in the professional coffee equipment category for establishments that prioritise consistent quality and operational safety.
