Professional wine refrigerator designed for installation against a wall, with double-glazed walls, forced air circulation and LED lighting. The unit is also equipped with electronic control, a digital display, an energy-saving function and electric defrost.
A wall-mounted wine refrigerator engineered for professional storage, display and easy access in restaurants, hotels, bars and retail wine shops. The unit is fixed to the wall, freeing floor space while keeping bottles at eye level.
Wine refrigeration works by circulating chilled air evenly around the bottles. A fan-driven cooling system pulls heat from the interior and expels it through a condenser. The air is cooled by a refrigerant that absorbs heat as it evaporates inside the evaporator coil. This continuous cycle maintains a stable temperature, protecting wine from fluctuations that can spoil flavour and ageing potential. The low-vibration, low-noise design ensures the sediment in the bottles remains undisturbed.
The operator loads the bottles onto the shelves, closes the door and sets the desired temperature between +4 °C and +18 °C using the digital control panel. The unit then cools the interior to the set point and holds it. An electric defrost system periodically melts any frost build-up on the evaporator, and the resulting water is evaporated automatically, eliminating manual drainage. LED lighting illuminates the bottles from the sides, enhancing visibility and presentation without adding heat.
The exterior and interior are made of stainless steel with a protective coating for durability in high-traffic professional environments. Double-glazed doors with argon-filled cavities provide thermal insulation, while heated glass and door frames prevent condensation. The unit is delivered in two parts—the main cabinet and a removable top section containing the complete refrigeration system—to simplify transport and installation.
Controls include a digital display and electronic temperature management with an energy-saving mode. The single temperature zone allows the operator to adjust the range from +4 °C to +18 °C, accommodating both short-term storage and long-term ageing. The refrigerant used is R290, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.
The 1230 L capacity allows storage of a large number of bottles in a compact footprint. The 1697 mm width, 632 mm depth and 2300 mm height fit standard worktop heights and wall spaces in professional kitchens and retail areas. The 490 kg weight requires secure wall mounting and a floor capable of supporting the load. The 220-240 V, 50 Hz electrical supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, while the 2.175 kW power rating indicates the load it will place on the circuit.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The electric defrost system eliminates the need for manual defrosting, and the automatic water evaporation removes the need for drainage trays. Shelves and hooks are supplied disassembled and must be requested separately.
The unit is available in a 60 Hz version with a 2.29 kW cooling power and R290 refrigerant as an alternative model. It meets climate class 5, allowing operation in ambient temperatures up to +40 °C and 40% relative humidity, suitable for warm commercial environments.
The product is categorised under professional refrigeration for wine storage and display.
