Professional wine refrigerator with double-glazed walls, forced air circulation and LED lighting, designed for wine storage and display. The unit is equipped with electronic control, a digital display, an energy-saving function and electric defrost.
A professional wine cooler built for intensive use in restaurants, hotels and bars, storing bottles at precise temperatures while displaying them to best effect.
A wine cooler of this type maintains a steady climate by circulating chilled air through an insulated cabinet. A compressor draws heat from the interior and expels it outside, while a fan spreads the cold air evenly across every shelf. The double-glazed doors and argon-filled cavity reduce heat transfer from the room, so the unit runs efficiently even when ambient temperatures rise. Electric defrost removes ice build-up automatically, evaporating the meltwater so no manual drainage is needed.
The sequence begins by positioning the two sections of the cabinet—base and upper refrigeration module—on a level floor. Once the power is connected, the electronic control panel is set to the desired temperature band, typically between +4 °C and +18 °C. Shelves and bottle hooks, supplied separately, are assembled inside. Bottles are loaded horizontally or suspended, and the doors are closed. The LED perimeter lighting switches on, illuminating the interior without adding heat. Throughout service, the digital display shows the current temperature, and the fan circulates air continuously to prevent hot spots.
The exterior and interior are finished in coated stainless steel for durability under heavy use. Double-glazed side and central panels are argon-filled for insulation, and the glass and door frames are heated to prevent condensation. Hinged doors open fully for easy access, and the entire unit splits into two parts for transport and installation.
Controls consist of an electronic panel with a digital display. The operator sets the target temperature within the +4 °C to +18 °C range, and the system maintains it automatically. An energy-saving mode reduces power consumption during quieter periods.
A capacity of 1576 L allows storage of several hundred bottles, depending on size and orientation. The 2.7 kW power rating reflects the load on the electrical circuit, while the 1.48 kW cooling power indicates the rate at which heat is removed. The 548 kg weight requires a sturdy floor and may need specialist handling equipment. The footprint of 1697 mm wide by 632 mm deep fits through standard service doors, and the 2600 mm height allows installation beneath worktops or in tall storage areas. The 220-240 V, 50 Hz voltage matches the standard UK three-phase supply used in commercial kitchens. Climate class 5 permits operation in ambient temperatures up to +40 °C and 40% relative humidity, suitable for busy back-of-house areas.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The electric defrost system eliminates the need to manually remove ice, and the heated glass prevents condensation that could otherwise require frequent wiping. Shelves and hooks, supplied disassembled, can be removed for thorough cleaning.
The cooler is available in a 60 Hz version with refrigerant R290, supplied as a separate article.
The unit is designed for professional catering environments and is listed in the FAGOR commercial refrigeration catalogue.
