A professional popcorn maker built for simultaneous sweet and salty batches. Two separate chambers let the operator run both flavours at once, cutting queue time and doubling output without mixing aromas or residues.
The machine heats oil in each chamber with an electric element. Hot oil transfers heat quickly to the kernels, raising internal pressure until the hull bursts. An automatic mixer stirs the kernels continuously, ensuring even heat distribution and preventing scorching. The heated storage shelf above keeps finished batches warm and crisp while the next cycle runs.
To operate, the user fills each chamber with oil and kernels, selects either standard or quick cooking mode, and starts the cycle. The mixer begins turning, the element heats the oil, and the kernels pop. Once the cycle completes, the operator lifts the batch into the heated storage shelf, ready for serving or bagging.
Construction is entirely stainless steel and tempered glass, chosen for durability and ease of cleaning. Internal LED lighting illuminates the chambers, making it simple to monitor the popcorn without opening the doors.
The 3.4 kW power rating means the unit requires a dedicated circuit capable of handling the load without tripping. The 230 V voltage matches standard UK commercial supplies, so no special wiring is needed beyond the correct circuit breaker.
The footprint of 1050 mm wide by 570 mm deep fits on most worktops or mobile trolleys, while the 1030 mm height allows easy access to the storage shelf without stooping. The two-chamber design doubles capacity without doubling width, saving space in busy kitchens.
Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless steel surfaces and removing any oil residue from the chambers. The tempered glass doors and LED lighting simplify inspection, so build-up is spotted early. The automatic mixer reduces manual stirring, cutting down on splashes and spills that require extra cleaning.
The Doppio Inox is a twin-chamber model, with no single-chamber variant in the range. It is designed for professional catering use, where speed and volume matter.
