HENDI 430 mm Bread Knife with Polypropylene Handle

A bread knife slices through crusts and soft interiors without crushing the loaf. The long, serrated blade moves in a sawing motion, letting each tooth cut a thin layer while the rest of the edge stays clear. This keeps the blade from sticking and produces clean, even slices with minimal effort. The handle remains cool and comfortable, allowing the operator to guide the knife steadily through the full length of the loaf without changing grip.

To use the knife, place the heel of the blade at the start of the slice and draw it gently towards the tip, letting the serrations do the work. The polypropylene handle is shaped to fit the hand, so the operator can maintain control without fatigue. Once the slice is complete, lift the knife clear and repeat, adjusting the angle to keep slices uniform.

The blade is made from stainless steel that resists corrosion and staining, so it stays sharp and hygienic through repeated use. The polypropylene handle is moulded in one piece, free of seams where dirt could collect. Both materials comply with HACCP guidelines, ensuring the knife can be cleaned and sanitised to professional standards.

The knife measures 430 mm overall, with a 300 mm blade and a 130 mm handle. The blade is 25 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick, giving it enough stiffness to slice cleanly without flexing. The total weight of 0.126 kg keeps the knife light enough for extended use, while the balance between blade and handle prevents it from feeling top-heavy.

Cleaning follows from the materials: the stainless steel blade can be washed in hot water with detergent, then dried immediately to prevent water spots. The polypropylene handle can be immersed in cleaning solutions without absorbing moisture or harbouring bacteria. The knife is supplied in an individual PET case that protects the blade during storage and transport.

The knife is available in Balts colour, and each unit is packaged separately in a clear PET case for presentation and protection.
