12-wire whisk with handle
A frother draws air into hot or cold liquids by rapidly whisking them with fine, flexible wires. The wires create a vortex that traps tiny bubbles, turning milk into a light foam for cappuccinos, lattes or hot chocolate, or aerating cold mixtures for mousses and cocktails.
The operator holds the stainless steel handle and moves the frother up and down inside the liquid. The elastic wires flex against the sides of the jug or cup, increasing the contact area and speeding up the process. A hook at the end of the handle lets the frother hang on the edge of a worktop or cupboard when not in use.
The frother is made of stainless steel throughout, including the 140 mm handle. The wires are elastic and return to shape after bending. The overall length of 435 mm reaches deep into pitchers and tall containers without the operator's hand touching the liquid.
The unit weighs 0.19 kg, light enough to hold for extended periods without strain. Its footprint of 435 mm by 100 mm fits into standard utensil drawers or hangs from a rail beneath a cupboard.
Cleaning follows from the materials: the stainless steel handle and wires are washed in warm water with detergent, rinsed and dried. The elastic wires should not be bent sharply or exposed to high heat, which could weaken them over time.
