HENDI Food Heating Lamp for Buffet and Holding Service

A food heating lamp maintains the temperature of plated dishes and buffet items without overcooking or drying them. Instead of reheating food in an oven or under a grill, the lamp directs radiant heat from above, gently warming the surface while preserving texture and moisture. This method is particularly effective for dishes that must be held for extended periods before service, such as at buffets, carveries or pass-through counters. The heat is even and controlled, preventing cold spots while avoiding the risk of burning that comes with direct contact heat sources. The operator positions the lamp over the food by adjusting the flexible handle, which allows the dome to be raised, lowered or angled as needed. Once the lamp is in place, it is switched on, and the radiant heat begins to warm the food below. The unbreakable bulb ensures continuous operation without the risk of shattering, even if accidentally knocked. The lamp remains in position until the food is ready to be served, providing consistent warmth without further intervention. Constructed with a metal housing and a flexible handle, the unit is designed for frequent adjustment and stable placement. The unbreakable bulb is included and fitted as standard, eliminating the need for separate bulb purchases. The 0.25 kW power rating means the lamp draws a modest load from a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, making it suitable for use alongside other kitchen equipment without overloading the supply. Cleaning involves wiping the metal housing and handle with a damp cloth to remove any grease or food particles. The unbreakable bulb can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to maintain clarity and heat output. The stainless-steel dome lifts away from the bracket without tools so the reflector can be wiped clean between lunch and dinner service.
