Basket and lid are included
A countertop fryer heats a measured volume of oil to a set temperature, then lowers food in a basket so the hot oil surrounds every piece evenly. The oil transfers heat quickly and uniformly, giving a crisp exterior while the inside stays moist. A cold-zone system beneath the heating elements traps crumbs and sediment, keeping the oil cleaner and extending its usable life.
To begin, fill the stainless-steel tank with 8 litres of oil and place the lid on top. Set the temperature between 50 and 190 °C using the stepwise control on the removable panel. A status indicator lights when the oil reaches the chosen temperature. Lower the basket into the oil, close the lid and monitor the cooking time. Once done, lift the basket, let the oil drain briefly and remove the food. The insulated handle stays cool to the touch throughout.
The fryer is built from stainless steel, with a removable control panel that automatically cuts power when detached for cleaning. A thermostat and overheat protection prevent the oil from exceeding safe temperatures. The basket and lid are included, and the basket's long handle keeps hands away from the hot oil.
A 3.5 kW heating element draws a steady load on a 230 V circuit, so the unit is best placed on its own dedicated spur. The 265 mm depth, 430 mm width and 350 mm height fit neatly on most worktops, while the 6.01 kg weight allows one person to move it without a trolley.
Cleaning involves lifting out the basket, removing the control panel and wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth. The cold-zone system reduces the need for frequent oil changes, but the tank can be drained and scrubbed when necessary.
The HENDI Fryer Kitchen Line is listed in the countertop fryer section of the professional catering catalogue.
