| NOTES | GN 2/3 , suitable for washing in dishwashers and suitable for use with foods |
A gastronorm container built to hold prepared ingredients through chilling, freezing and hot storage without absorbing odours or leaking. The polypropylene walls and tight-fitting lid create a sealed space that keeps food safe at temperatures from deep-freeze to boiling-water baths. Stacking is stable and space-saving; when empty the containers nest inside one another to free up shelf or cupboard space.
The container accepts standard GN 2/3 inserts and trays, so it fits directly into blast chillers, combi ovens, bain-maries and heated pass-throughs. Colour-coded HACCP clips (green, yellow, blue, red) snap onto the rim, allowing kitchen teams to organise workflows by temperature zone or food type. Integrated HACCP labels let staff record dates and contents with wipe-clean markers, although the markers themselves are not supplied.
Loading is straightforward: place the food inside, snap the lid shut, and clip on the appropriate colour. The container then travels from prep area to chiller, freezer or hot cabinet without transferring smells or spills. When the meal service is over, the container and lid go through commercial dishwashers for hygienic cleaning.
Construction is food-grade polypropylene throughout, chosen for its resistance to cracking at low temperatures and to warping at high ones. The lid seals tightly to prevent leaks, and the base is reinforced to support stacked loads. Four colour-coded clips are included; additional clips can be ordered separately if more colours are needed for larger kitchens.
The footprint of 354 × 325 mm matches standard GN 2/3 racks and trolleys, so the container slides into existing storage systems without wasted space. A 150 mm height and 13.5 litre volume suit portioned ingredients such as sauces, soups or pre-cut vegetables, keeping them organised and accessible during service.
Cleaning follows the same routine as other polypropylene kitchenware: wash in commercial dishwashers, air-dry, and store nested. The material does not absorb detergent residues or food odours, so each cycle starts fresh. HACCP labels can be wiped clean or replaced as needed to maintain traceability.
The container is supplied as a single unit with lid and four HACCP colour clips (green, yellow, blue, red). No additional variants are listed for this article.
