Aesthetic design, suitable for cooking demonstrations. Smooth body with black coated stainless steel frame.
An induction cooker transfers energy directly into induction-compatible pans by generating a high-frequency magnetic field beneath the ceramic glass surface. The field induces eddy currents in the pan's ferromagnetic base, heating the pan itself rather than the hob. This method eliminates open flames and radiant heat, concentrating energy where it is needed and responding instantly to changes in power or temperature settings.
The operator places an induction pan on the marked cooking zone, selects one of eleven power or temperature stages via the touch-sensitive panel, and sets the timer for up to 180 minutes if required. The digital display shows the current setting and countdown. When the timer expires, the unit switches off automatically and emits an audible signal. Electronic overheating protection cuts power if the ceramic surface exceeds a safe threshold, preventing damage to the appliance or surrounding worktop.
Construction consists of a single-piece ceramic glass surface mounted in a stainless-steel frame. The touch controls and digital display are built into the front edge, keeping the worktop clear. The unit measures 297 mm wide, 411 mm deep and 57 mm high, fitting standard worktop cut-outs. At 3.61 kg, it can be lifted by one person and positioned without additional support.
The 2.0 kW power rating requires a dedicated 220 V circuit capable of supplying the full load without voltage drop. The 35–240 °C temperature range covers simmering, boiling, frying and searing, while the 120–220 mm base diameter specification ensures compatibility with most professional induction pans. The 15 kg maximum oven load allows the unit to support large stock pots or stacked pans during extended service.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth after each use to remove spills before they carbonise. The touch panel is cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to avoid moisture ingress. The stainless-steel frame can be sanitised with standard kitchen disinfectant.
