A deep fryer heats a measured volume of oil with an electric element beneath the vat. The oil transfers heat quickly and evenly to the food in the basket, producing a crisp exterior while the interior cooks through. The V-shaped base of this vat concentrates the element's output, letting the oil reach frying temperature faster and recover it sooner after the basket is lowered. A built-in thermostat cycles the element on and off to hold the set temperature, preventing scorched oil and uneven results.
The operator pours oil into the vat up to the marked level, then switches the unit on. The digital panel displays the current temperature and lets the operator set the target value. A timer counts down the frying cycle; when it reaches zero the panel sounds an alert. The basket, fitted with an extended handle for safe grip, is lowered into the hot oil. Once the timer expires, the basket is lifted out and the food drained. A drain tap at the base of the vat allows used oil to be drawn off without tilting the unit.
The fryer is constructed from 18/0 stainless steel, including the outer casing, the V-shaped oil vat and the lid. The control panel is removable for cleaning and automatically cuts power when detached. A basket with a long handle and a hinged lid are supplied as standard.
The 7 kW heating element draws a substantial load on a single-phase 230 V circuit, so the unit is typically connected to a dedicated spur in a professional kitchen. The 16 L oil capacity allows batch frying of larger items or multiple portions without overcrowding. The overall footprint of 605 × 515 mm fits on most worktops, while the 16.69 kg weight permits safe repositioning by two operators.
Cleaning involves draining the oil through the tap, wiping the vat and casing with a damp cloth, and removing the control panel to clean around the housing. The basket and lid are washed separately in a sink or dishwasher. The thermostat's restart function resumes normal operation once the unit cools after an overheat event.
This model is part of the HENDI Profi Line range of deep fryers, designed for intensive use in commercial kitchens.
