To use, the bottle is filled with cold sauce through the wide opening at the top. The lid is screwed on tightly, sealing the contents. When a portion is needed, the operator tilts the bottle and presses the spout gently; the sauce flows out in a steady line, stopping cleanly when the pressure is released. The narrow neck reduces splashing, and the smooth interior prevents residue from clinging to the sides, so each pour is as precise as the last.

Each bottle is made of transparent material, allowing the colour and consistency of the sauce to be checked without opening. The construction is lightweight, so bottles can be handled easily during service and stored on shelves or in cupboards when not in use.
